Miracle Center Overview
Miracle Center is a privately funded, non-profit program that provides a safe and nurturing environment for women who are homeless or at risk for homelessness due to overwhelming life circumstances. These women are offered hope and transitional support in a structured setting. Our basic principles of finding one's identity in God alone, choosing to live by a standard of Christ-likeness, and submitting oneself to accountability and self-evaluation, are not only taught, but modeled and encouraged. Residents are led through a highly flexible, individulized process of evaluating self, relationships with others, and their relationship with God which enables them to establish goals based on their discoveries and God-given talents. A variety of classes, Bible studies, recovery groups, spiritual counseling, individual attention, and other activities are utilized for education, training, and support. The goal of Miracle Center is for each woman to emerge with a renewed, Christ-centered lifestyle free of destructive behaviors while maintaining a secure, full-time job, stable housing, and a plan to continue seeking God's will in reaching her full potential.
Miracle Center is fully funded by resident rent, cash donations and
the revenue of sales from our thrift store.
