Programs
The Miracle Center offers a variety of programs to equip the women to be able to transition effectively into the community.
Group Substance Abuse Counseling
Many ladies come in with abusive and traumatic pasts as well as substance abuse issues. All residents participate in a faith-based group facilitated by our licensed independent substance abuse counselor.
Individual Counseling:
Our individual counselor deals with each individual on a personal basis.
Twelve Step Program
Our twelve step program is taught at the house twice a month, as well as attending Recovery Unlimited, which is a Christian twelve step support group, twice a month.
Bible Study:
We have weekly Bible Study, facilitated by various volunteers, to give the ladies a foundation of God's Word and how to apply it to their lives.
Discipleship Training:
A weekly training class designed to strengthen the new believer in the Word of God and to develop an individual walk with God.
Church:
The ladies are required to attend the church of their choice weekly. This allows them to worship God corporately as well as begin to make Christian relationships which will help them whem they transition to their own place.
Career Counseling:
We utilize the services of a professional career counselor to provide the ladies with a resume, as well as job search etiquette and advice.
Professional Clothing Consultant:
We have joined forces with Cynthia Palmer at Eagles Wings Of Grace to provide professional clothing to aid in finding employment, as well as on the job attire.
Personal Planning:
The resident learns to organize her life by making both short and long term attainable goals and marking progress towards those goals.
Financial Planning:
The resident is taught how to make, implement, and maintain a budget. In preparation for transitioning into their own house, they are required to have a written plan of action.
